The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) has a proud tradition of excellence in athletics. In 2013, the football program celebrated their 100th season. Our student-athletes excel in the classroom as well as on the field of play. FSDB Athletics promotes fair play and sportsmanship and is preparing the student-athletes to be leaders on and off the court.
FSDB is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and fields teams in girls’ volleyball, cross country, swimming, football, girls’ soccer, basketball, wrestling, competitive cheerleading, goalball, tennis and track and field. Our athletic teams compete with public and private schools across the state and nation. FSDB has garnered multiple national championship titles and regional awards and produced athletes who have competed and placed in international Deaflympics and Pan American Games for the Deaf, as well as in Goalball at the Paralympics.
The schedule for athletic events often changes. Games may be canceled or relocated. Please call or email to confirm the schedule before you come to an athletic event.
