FSDB August 25, 2017 Board Meeting

On August 25, 2017, the Board of Trustees of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) will hold a Board Workshop at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Board meeting will be held from 2:00 pm until the conclusion of business. Both the workshop and the board meeting are to be held in the Moore Hall Center for Learning and Development (CLD) and both meetings are open to the public; American Sign Language interpreters will be provided.

The Board meeting agenda focuses on matters pertaining to FSDB. Read the August 25, 2017 Board workshop agenda. Review the August 25, 2017 Board meeting agenda and May 26, 2017 Board meeting minutes.

Future Board meeting dates for the 2017-2018 academic year are as follows:

  • September 29, 2017
  • October 27, 2017
  • December 8, 2017
  • January 19, 2017
  • February 23, 2017
  • April 13, 2017
  • May 18, 2017

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this Board meeting is asked to advise the FSDB by calling at least two (2) days in advance.

If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, s/he will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence from which the appeal is to be issued.
