FSDB is committed to creating a campus environment that promotes and protects the overall health and well-being of all students and staff, as required by federal law. Accordingly, FSDB will assemble a representative Wellness Committee that will meet to set goals for and monitor for the development and implementation of the school’s comprehensive Wellness Policy.
Overall good health, nutrition, and physical exercise is essential for learning and cognitive ability. Ensuring good health in school-age students can also boost attendance and educational achievement. In addition, healthy staff can more effectively perform their assigned duties and model appropriate wellness behaviors for students.
The FSDB Wellness Committee invites the local community and parents of FSDB students to attend and participate in the Wellness Policy development and implementation process. The committee meets on March 23, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm in Moore Hall Room 215 on the FSDB campus. Parking is available at the rear of Moore Hall.
