Blind Elementary Student’s Music Theatre

Kramer Elementary Music Theatre in the Blind Department gave a wonderful performance of Cinderella on Thursday, May 26 to a full crowd. The performance was both interpreted for the deaf and described for the blind. A total of 26 students from PreK-5th grade participated in the performance. They began rehearsals in February and practiced after-school 2-3 times per week leading up to the performances, as well as working independently on their lines and songs at home and in the dorms. They performed so well and even began incorporating ad libs, character acting, and playing off of the actors around them. The group this year is funded by The Ludwig Foundation.
