Deaf Department 8th Graders Are Headed to Washington DC

Almost all of the 8th graders in the Deaf Middle School will be headed to Washington, D.C. May 16-20 to participate in “Government in Action.” The tour gives youth opportunities to learn first hand about our nation’s capital and its history. Students will have an in-depth tour of the Capitol building and tour dozens of other interesting sites. The students raised funds and saved their money over the past year in order to pay for their trip.
