FSDB To Host Ancient City Auto Club Car Show

PRESS RELEASE:
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Sept. 15, 2011) – The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind invites the public to attend the 27th annual Ancient City Auto Club Car Show on its campus Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is the third time in which the school has served as the host site for the event on its historic campus. Parking and admission are free.

More than 200 cars ranging from street rods to old historic classics are anticipated to participate and compete in 31 judged classes. Food, beverage and arts/crafts vendors will be available with exhibits and items to see and purchase. The event will culminate with an awards presentation. Visitors can enter the school at the Genopoly Street entrance off of 207 North San Marco Avenue.

Car registration takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Additionally, the St. Augustine Sightseeing Red Trains and Old Town Trolley Tours are adding the car show as a stop to their schedule from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
