Outreach

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind is committed to providing outreach services to children, their families, and the teachers and staff who serve them. We offer services at no cost to those who request them.

The Small and Rural School District Support Program provides training, evaluations, technical assistance, and support to districts serving children who are deaf or hard of hearing, or blind or visually impaired.

The Parent Infant Program provides early intervention services to families in Florida. The services include home visits, an early learning program, and training of professionals.

The Resource Materials and Technology Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (RMTC) provides accessible materials and videos, on-site training and consultation, and technical assistance. The RMTC Web site is a resource for hands-on activities, curriculum starters, and classroom suggestions for teachers of the Deaf or hard of hearing.
