All deaf and blind high school students are invited to learn ways to improve their use of a camera and to know that anyone can be a photographer! In our new Paparazzi Club, students also learn that photography can be a rich hobby or can lead to a career.
In club meetings and outdoor excursions, students learn that focus on environment using visual and listening skills is the first step to finding the best subjects. Using basic rules of photography, lighting, and perspective helps students to take beautiful photos by design.
Photo editing is another exciting way to create beautiful images. Paparazzi Club members learn and practice skills in post editing. Spot color, collage, and layering are all techniques students learn using computer software and their own photos.
